Forsaken By My Mate Epilogue

Mira assumed Damon had finally come around, and she was overjoyed. Then, on the eve of the ceremony, Damon called Mira and invited her to his house, implying that he had something special for her.

Mira was overjoyed, thinking Damon had finally decided to get intimate with her before the ceremony. After all, she had always been the one to initiate things between them.

She carefully dressed and dashed over.

Everything inside Damon’s house was dim and gloomy, and Damon stood in the shadows, away from any light.

“Come, sit here,” he said, pointing to a chair in the middle of the living room.

Mira eagerly sat down, only for Damon to blindfold her with his tie; she didn’t suspect a thing and giggled coyly. “Damon, what are you doing? You are such a tease!”

Damon’s face was cold and expressionless, emitting a chilling presence that sent shivers down one’s spine. I could see everything clearly from behind her.

Mira paused for a moment before asking, “Damon, what is this?”

Damon replied gently, “It’s a gift I made especially for you.”

But I could see it clearly: it was the detonation wire for a bomb—Damon was going to blow Mira up! He then placed the main part of the bomb in her hands.

“Are you ready, darling?” It is time to open your present.

Mira eagerly nodded, and Damon took off the blindfold.

Mira looked down, grinning with anticipation, but what she saw was the nightmare-inducing wolfsbane bomb she was holding.

“What are you doing, Damon?” Stop joking! This is not funny at all!”

Damon curled his lips into a sinister smile.

“Who claimed I was joking? I just wanted you to understand what Daisy went through. Do you realise how painful it must have been when she died in that explosion?

“She was carrying my child. We could’ve had a happy life together.”

Mira’s body trembled violently. “What does that have to do with me?”

Damon’s expression hardened, and his years as a patrol chief echoed in his voice. “How did Adrian know where Daisy was?”

Mira’s eyes flashed with guilt. “I don’t know, I really don’t!”

Damon picked up the remote detonator. “You don’t? Then, I’ll press this now, and you can go ask Adrian yourself.”

Mira screamed in terror and quickly admitted, “It was me! I told him! But… but if I hadn’t said anything about Daisy, I would’ve been the one to die!”

Damon gave a satisfied smile. At that point, I felt the constraints on my soul finally lift. I think I can finally leave.

Damon simultaneously pressed the button. The explosion ripped through the house, destroying every piece of furniture. Damon and Mira died instantly.

People on the street murmured in shock.

“Hey, did you hear? The guy with the Golden Warrior medal and his mate both got blown up at home. It’s such a tragedy!” “Yeah, and I heard the bomb was the exact same wolfsbane bomb from that horrible bombing case from a year ago.”
