Lone Wolf Epilogue

“I-It must’ve been Liora again! She always framed me, you know that! She was always playing tricks to turn you against me!”

“You still refuse to admit the truth!” exclaimed my father.

He dragged her into the living room, pushing the small camera into her trembling hands.

“Watch it. Watch what you did!”

Her fingers trembled violently as she hit play.

Then, as the scenes played out in front of her, her face turned white as snow.

She dropped to her knees and pleaded in a broken voice.

“Mom… Dad… It must be fake. You know it had to be Liora who-who edited it…”

“Enough!” my father exclaimed.

He slapped her hard enough that she spun sideways.

Vivienne froze, clutching her cheek in disbelief.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but behind them was a twisted expression, filled with burning hatred rather than innocence.

Vivienne threw her head back and laughed hysterically.

“Hahaha! Yes, it was me–I pushed her into the silver mine! And what can you do about it now?”

She smirked arrogantly while wiping the blood from the corner of her lips.

“You should blame yourselves. You were the fools who didn’t believe your own daughter!”

She took a step forward, her voice full of venom.

“After all, you’ve already lost one daughter. Would you really dare to lose another? The one you poured all your love and care into for so many years? So, if you’re smart, you’ll-”

Before she could finish her sentence, my parents let out a heartbreaking howl and transformed into their wolves.

Blinded by rage and grief, they lunged at her-

And tore her apart limb by limb, leaving her broken wolf form in silence.

The floor was stained with blood, and the air reeked of betrayal and death.

Then, still in wolf form, they rushed to my tomb and collapsed in front of the cold stone.

“My dear Liora,” my mother sobbed, her voice raw, “we have avenged you!” Please… Wake up… Let us hold you once more! We miss you so much!”

My soul hovered quietly nearby, watching the scene through hollow eyes.

I gave a faint, bitter smile and whispered in a voice that only they could hear:

“I am finally at peace now.

But, please… Do not call out to me again.

I do not want to see either of you.

Not in this lifetime…

“Not in the next.”
