“Wow, those are heaven-sent looks!”
“She looks like she came right out of a novel!”
“When was our country as beautiful as it is now?”
“I’m turning traitor and stanning this little vixen instead!”
As the noise of the discussion grew louder and louder, even the cameramen who had come for Olivia turned their attention to me. The crowd grew larger and larger around me, and security guards were called in to maintain order.
Sophie, of all people, was there in the crowd, clumsily pushing her way through, holding a plaque congratulating Olivia on finishing her shoot.
When she saw me, her eyes gleamed, and she did everything she could to get closer to me through the crowd. “Who are you? What is your name? Are you a rookie? Have you formed a fan club yet?”
I couldn’t help but feel ironic seeing her like this; I wonder how she’d react if she knew I was her mother.
Granted, she’d probably never recognise me because she’d only seen my ugly photos all day.
Because she was so rude in approaching me for a signature, a few other girls told her off, resulting in a fight that ended with her being shoved into a ditch. She had to be rescued by the guards, who managed to drag her out.
Olivia came here after seeing all of the commotion.
She was so enraged when she saw her fans crowding around me and demanding signatures that blood flowed from her face.
“How can you push your limits as a rookie? Everyone is concentrating on their shoots, not acting arrogantly like you! Can you accept responsibility for causing trouble for the crew?”
She accused me of causing trouble for the crew the moment she saw me, and if she had her way, I would have been fired before I could even advance in my career.
Seeing her reaction, I turned to her and apologised, “I’m sorry, Miss Monroe; I’m just a rookie trying to earn my keep. If you think I am an eyesore, I can leave now… P-Please don’t get mad…”
Seeing my reaction, a girl standing nearby stood up for me: “You’re the one who’s using all this space to hold a party for your own sake!” How can you accuse her when you are the one causing trouble for the crew?”
“Gosh, I’ve been a fan of Olivia for three years, and I’ve only recently realised how much of a bitch she is!” She’s probably just upset that her fans are interested in someone else now!”
“What was her role in this shoot again?” A general? With her scrawny arms?”
As a result, a real-life fan war erupted among these fans, and Ella assisted me in leaving the scene. I was about to get into the car when I noticed Orion emerge from a nearby car and walk towards me. I quickly got into the car, and Ella drove me away from the scene.
Later that day, I went viral on social media.
At first, talk about me began when Olivia spent money to flood any mention of me with hatred, but then pictures of me began to be posted on the internet by those who were actually there, and the discussion turned into a matter of determining my identity.
Of course, Ella took advantage of this opportunity to officially announce me as one of their artists, and I also started a social media account, which grew to a million followers that night.
